great experience but with room for improvement
We felt like we were on a movie set! Everything was beautifully arranged, from our superior room with an impressive lake view to the charming terrace where we enjoyed breakfast. The welcoming nature of one of the owners made us feel special, as they took the time to personally show us around the hotel, which was a nice touch. The walks around the hotel revealed stunning mountain views that can’t be overlooked.

Straight talk, worth it or not?
The location is perfect with easy bus access and a short stroll to downtown. The indoor pool was a delight, especially on rainy days, and the staff was remarkably friendly and accommodating.
Some rooms felt dark and outdated, lacking modern comforts like air conditioning. consistency in dining service varied, particularly during busy hours which can affect your meal experience.

What a grand spot for a little family getaway! The views from our lake view room were simply spectacular, like something off a postcard. The breakfast spread was mighty too, with so much to choose from. A bit of noise from the road at times, though.

The views of Lake Wolfgang from the rooms are stunning, especially with the quadruple glazed windows blocking out noise effectively. The large indoor pool offers spectacular lake views and the unique Finnish and traditional saunas provide a cozy retreat after a day of exploring.
Several rooms come across as outdated, which might not sit well if you prefer modern accommodations. It would be handy to have coffee-making facilities in the room and the lack of a fridge restricted snack options. During breakfast, expect some logistical chaos as tables can be hard to come by, even if the spread is impressive. The lack of air conditioning could be uncomfortable during warmer months, especially if you're not used to heat. while the dining experience offers good quality meals, sometimes the course timing can be poor, leading to frustration. Parking can be tricky too during events or busy periods, making access a bit of a hassle.

The lakeside views were stunning, especially from the wellness area, which had a relaxing ambiance with great facilities. The reception staff went above and beyond, helping with a massage appointment and retrieving a forgotten item. the lack of additional towels in the spa made for an uncomfortable experience, and the restaurant staff seemed less engaging than expected. Breakfast offered a good variety, but the bacon was served cold each day, which detracted from the overall dining experience.

The spacious suite provided breathtaking mountain views each morning, and the breakfast featured an impressive selection, particularly the artisanal bread that elevated the meal. some rooms felt a bit outdated, and the dining staff could improve in warmth, especially during busy hours. I also found that the table arrangements during breakfast led to some logistical difficulties, making it challenging to find seating at times.
